I think you have consciousness mixed up with something else.
Today philosophically we have ruled out a lot of things, but we have not come to any greater understanding of consciousness and the problem of other minds. Consciousness is immediate; it’s the consciousness of other minds that’s the problem. Conventionally we have shaped and molded our external world to fit our needs. Technology, artificial intelligence, we have created these things in hopes to better understand our existence and reality.
This ‘classical’ world we perceive is experienced as past, present and future, internal and external. The perceiving part of the mind must perceive things as objects existing outside us in space and time; likewise, all of us experience the world as consisting of external objects. The world we perceive is definite, with a flow through space and time, molded by the mind; understood through consciousness. Today, this gives people ‘history’. Everything perceived in humanity’s time here, while in existence, has been in the context of past present and future is in a particular time, and in a certain place. Past, present, and future are how reality is perceived by the mind; and how it has been perceived for millennia or more. Thus, giving people comfort in the traditional ‘truths’ or beliefs that we as humans hold dear; this history gives us knowledge of some things. Since everything is based on a personal perception, how would any one person know if they really are conscious, or just a figment of their mind?
At present (just like through human history), it is very difficult or impossible for the human mind to understand or comprehend true reality; even at our current level of consciousness today in time. It is hard to comprehend that knowledge is boundless; because our senses and perceptions limit the possibilities for us (each person has a different level of consciousness). Sensory experience must be unified in a single connected consciousness, if it was not unified through the categories of understanding it could never qualify as an experience; we would just have bits and pieces of useless information that we could not understand. There are endless possibilities open to the human mind, I believe we can transcend our current consciousness and achieve ‘enlightenment’.
Our brain (where consciousness resides) is composed of special tissues of very complex molecules, where energy is distributed, exchanged, and used by means of electrons. Resulting from a chemical reaction that can be suddenly stopped by lack of oxygen; does your consciousness end when you die? In a real sense, consciousness (and even memory) resides in a cloud of electrons free to flow where ever the potential differences take them; because all electrons are identical (neglecting velocity and spin?) they are interchangeable. It follows that electron cloud, your consciousness (and memories); which must be re-invented or regenerated instant to instant. Perhaps you wanted a miracle; perhaps this is.
Now, Consciousness is timeless, and all the possibilities exist there simultaneously. As you embody your SELF you might become, let’s say, a man/woman of any possible possibility.
Is there a solution to consciousness (?), and the problem of other minds? Well, to answer some of these questions, a solution must be merged from philosophical thought, to scientific information; a merging of ideas from great thinkers. They have come up with many solutions to deal with the problem of other minds, and consciousness. That solution is trust; but trust it can be abused, and violated. So everything is subjective.
To exist is: to be, especially to be a real, actual, or current thing, not merely something imagined or written about
To not-exist is the antisis of to exist.

At the most primitive level - consciousness is the awareness of ones separateness and feelings, then the awareness of one's thought system and perceptions, and ultimately the awareness of one's beliefs, misperceptions and illusions - which must be discarded before awareness of one's true nature/being can be reflected by reality.
Only what is true is real, only what is real "exists." All else is illusion within, misperception or delusion without and is non-existent or un-real.
We are made to believe that we are sinners by the words and actions of others. Sin is a belief in an "unfixable error" about the essential self, accompanied by shame which literally glues it in one's consciousness causing it to be "relived" over and over whether one remembers the origin or not. Believing that one has sinned is a painful state of mind that has to be healed by eliminating one's belief in the unforgiveable mistake. This is an internal process of recalling the associated feeling, revisiting the origin of the error (original sin) in the light of reason until it is dislodged and the feeling no longer exists. The reacurring experience then disappears as well.

In my opinion, consciousness and free will go hand in hand.
To be conscious is to be aware of self and environment.
Exists and non-exists are identifiers of perception.
Existence can be considered in terms of forms of perception.
If an abstract object can be perceived it has some amount
of existence which is attached to the perception which
conceived its existence. Some abstract objects present
themselves exclusively to specific perceptions. Therefore,
abstract objects can simultaneously exist for some
perceptions while not-existing for other perceptions which
implies a holistic partial existence.
In my opinion, sinning can only happen in situations of
free will, and free will requires consciousness. Therefore,
every sin is a conscious sin. (side note: setting one's self
up or consciously allowing one's self to enter a state of
deficient consciousness is a complex scenario which
is not implicitly an escape clause for avoiding responsibility
of sin, but also not necessarily a condemnation of sin).

Consciousness is a lot like free will and virginity. Even people who do believe in it have a devil of a time trying to define it. Even when they do define it, there is no way from the outside (and often from the inside) to determine if it really is present. Therefore even if it does exist, for all practical purposes it is completely and utterly irrelevant.

yes!

All
all again
NO WAY!!
that's a belief, not quantifiable, but if you like it use it
the concept of sin can only exist if there is consciousness, but even more than that sin can only exist if some outside authority defines it and teaches it to others and they believe it
without belief is sin, sin does not exist, kinda like the value of paper money,

the quick answer is confident. Over 80 5% of the international’s inhabitants believes in non secular life, which skill they sense human beings are extra advantageous than merely flesh & blood machines. the overpowering majority have self assurance that our life power, essence or soul maintains on in a non-actual form as quickly as we die. i will understand the skeptic’s POV, because of the fact i used to be one myself. real, I endorsed Psi /ESP, yet I drew a line interior the sand while it got here to survival previous dying. That crossed into theological turf I didn’t want to even evaluate. My ideals didn’t substitute until my own studies pressured me to confront the information. I’ve widely used dozens of people who have been formerly complicated-nosed, adamant skeptics, yet replaced after that one inscrutable, marvelous revelation. circumstances of non-believers turning out to be believers are undemanding, yet not the choice. And why is that? What ought to so adjust somebody’s evaluations that they’d circulate from blinkered denial to absolute conviction, being certainly confident that life previous dying is a fact? It’s continuously a similar-- a private journey or witnessing it firsthand. Diehard skeptics gained’t be happy until the ghost of Lincoln is interviewed on CNN. yet for hundreds of thousands of believers, evidence comes from a form materials like NDEs, irrefutable touch from a lifeless relative, babies’s innovations of reincarnation, and so forth. ideals approximately life previous dying are in many circumstances pretty own, yet firsthand information & own truths are continuously extra compelling than any naysayer’s argument. historic previous’s maximum fashionable scientist mentioned it suitable: "in case you hit upon out of your guy or woman journey that something is a fact and it contradicts what some authority has written down, then you quite ought to desert the authority and base your reasoning on your guy or woman findings." ~ Leonardo daVinci c.1490
