Say you didn't have the greatest marriage and still resented things she had done, but she died and was cremated. What would you do with the ashes?

Oh this is too funny because that is what my Dad always told my Mom to do with his when he got cremated. Of course my Mom died and my Dad is still alive. I say give them to her parents if they are still alive or else just do something with them besides flushing them. I kinda find it gross. I don't think I could ever use that toilet again. Maybe take them out to the ocean or to the mountains and spread them around.

My husbands Grandmother did something like that. For the most part she went along with his wishes. She kept a very small part of her husbands ashes and when she remembered that he cheated or did something to hurt her she would flush a little it of the ashes.

The least you can do, sence you were too ballless to leave her before she died, you could at least go spread her ashes at a place you know she liked visiting.

What a creep you are!! Good thing she's gone now in a happier place!!

Use them to make coffee. If you blend them with some chocolate powder and just a little bit of regular coffee then it makes the best cappuchino you will ever taste.

Return the ashes to her parents or a sibling. Then move on.

I would spread them out in a place that reminded me of the good times that we had. Even tho there was great resentment, I would respect the dead, they will have to answer to a higher power........

Who cares? I never have understood people's interest in mortal remains. When my wife is dead, or when I am dead, our souls will have gone on to our eternal rewards. All we leave behind is a husk, a shell, meaningless and without significance. My wife is free to do whatever she wants with my body once I no longer inhabit it.

I'd give them to her family and get some closure and know I took the high road.

Then, I'd go celebrate. Freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeedom!!!!

Give them either to your kids or someone else who ACTUALLY loves them. What a selfish outlook alot of you people have.

If you had kids give them to her. If she has family pass them on. I heard Keith Richards snorted his dad...Be happy she is gone and move on don't do something mean.
