Male pubic hair question (trimming)?

Hey all.

I have quite a lot of pubic hair down there and it really does get in the way when having some fun with the gf. I have never touched the hair before but am considering having a trim because its unsightly and ugly and gets in the way of any action etc..

I am considering just getting a pair of scissors and having a trim. Again, i have never touched the hair down here before. Im wondering how long it will take to grow back? I don't want it to become something that once ive started trimming, im going to have to do it every few days (like shaving).

How long does the hair take to grow back to say an inch or two long (the most i could put up with before having to get out the scissors again!!!)

It will probably grow somewhat more slowly than the hair on your head, which for most people is about half an inch a month.

One thing to be wary of -- if your pubic hair is at all coarse, which is what most people have, then when you cut off the soft, tapered end, it is going to be prickly and poke both you and your partner very uncomfortably. It's really easier to just leave it alone; natural hair is softer and silkier.

Not really a big trend as most guys seldom trim, very tiny percentage shave. But if you do want to trim it a bit- get naked, grab some good scissors, preferably ones for cutting hair, plus a comb. Step into the tub or shower for easy clean up. Fluff out your bush with the comb, have a mirror handy so you can check your work, and start trimming lightly. If your bush tends to branch out a bit on the abdomen and thighs, cut that area shorter so your bush is more compact for the best look. Don't use a razor or trimmers-- just scissors.

Pubic hair grows more slowly than beard hair. To keep it looking good, trim it once a week or so.

Consider shaving your scrotum completely, as well as any hairs that are growing on the shaft of the penis. A smooth scrotum is much more likely to get sucked, and the hairs on the shaft of the penis tend to make it look smaller than it really is. You can buy a body shaver with grades to make the whole process much easier and safer!

I trim every few months. I don't know how fast the hair grows down there, but since pubic hair kinks and is flattened most of the time, it just gets thick rather than long, in general. I just pull the strands through my fingers and snip off anything more than 2 inches long. The effect is more like thinning than shortening, and like you just have slightly less hair. It's not like getting a buzz cut or anything, and not really that noticeable unless you cut it really short. Don't worry--unless your name is Samson, cutting your pubic hair doesn't rob you of your strength and manhood! And you'll feel neater.

About 8 years ago, I started trimming my pubic hair. I really had to keep up with it. Now, I just shave all of it off. It's much easier in my opinion as long as you do it every week or so. Sex is so much more enjoyable without hair there.

Give it the porno star trim (clean/bald) or the blue collar look (light trim around the shaft). It depends on your partner. Let her do it and it will turn into a reason to do it again. And while your at it make it a party and help her out with hers.

I trim about once a month............ I purchase an electric hair trimming set, they come with different attachments so you can choose how close you trim........

youll need another trim in about 3 weeks u should use a trimmer though its better than the scissers you might cut more than hair with them
