What would it be, in your opinion?

And no, it's not for my university paper, no way. It has just came into my mind while I was reading a book by V. E. Frankl, in Portuguese.

That would depend upon the personal security level of that individual. If they were secure in their safety and confident in themselves, they would be curious. Adventuresome people would see it as a challenge.

Fear of the unknown limits the abilities for people to step out of their comfort zone...and that would be a tragedy for the progression of mankind.

What Ho,
Well, I consider myself to be a "normal" sort of bloke, but when chucked out of an aircraft, for charity, I became a bit irrational..
My usual calm self went into a "what the Dickens is this" mode
Or words to that effect.
I suppose that is a normal reaction .
Again, when learning to water ski, and eventually had a go at the jump-ramp, I'm sure that I shouted the F word in mid-air.
That is not normally me, but there we go.
Cheers,
Bob

Fear. That is the answer to your question. Anything abnormal- or NEW to a normal individual would be fear of the unknown.
