Who wrote this album and what was the name of it?

This album came out in the late 90's. The cover of the album showed two white hands on a black background. The hands were sort of mirror images of each other and was making a sort of semi obscene image. The band was something like Bauhaus or Love & Rockets but not one of them.

I'm not sure what album your talking about, but it's definitely not Mudvayne, L.D.50 is white with a dna model and a baby, plus it didn't come out until 2000, so that rules out late 90's.
