Its hard to guess when you might go into labor, i went weeks at 3 cm. You should have them strip your membranes next time you go to the doc, if you don't end up having your baby by then.

I went to the dr one week and they said i was 2 cm, the next week they said 2 cm but could feel the sac, within an hour of that I started having contractions, I guess her fiddleing around in there started my labor, I waited about 3-4 hrs before going to the hospital and when i arrived i was still 2 cm, but I was in pain, 20 min later i hit 3 cm and they admitted me. I was 36 1/2 weeks

that all depends on your baby and when he/she wants to come out. I was 4 cm dialated at 41 weeks when the finally had to take my baby out. Just be patient. Your baby will come when it's ready. And you'll have 18 years to spend with it! Give it the few more days she/he wants to stay in your tummy. That's a very comforting and secure place, and the baby feels good in there. Give it time.

good luck
