I was also wonderding does this mean their laptops will be on sell? As I'm looking to purchase one if so. I live in Michigan near the Detroit area.

I can't answer for your specific Circuit City but I know that the one near us closed about 6 weeks ago and there really weren't too many deals on anything. We left and went to Frys Electronics and found everything at their regular price to be cheaper than Circuit City's clearance sale. I paid under 500 for the Toshiba Satellite Laptop that I am using right now. It works like a dream. I've seen it listed at other places for as much as $750 so look around in all of the Sunday circulars and try checking http://www.frys.com/ if you don't have one near you then you might be able to order online.

Good Luck

sounds like you might be an idiot so here are some easy steps!

1 get in your car
2 drive around lost until you come across a circuit city
3 slow down and pull into the parking lot then park
4 go inside and locate someone that works there (they mostly wear a shirt with the company logo)
5 ask if they are closing!

You could always try calling that store and finding out. You could also try calling another Circuit City around you. They may not have their laptops on sale because overstock or extra stock can be shipped to another store near by,
