if I get any side effects from Yaz?

And which are the most common and how long might they last?

I took Yasmin (same as Yaz) and I got side effects within a couple of days after I started and a couple of them lasted for a week. One of the problems I had with it was that for 3 days I felt like I just had to cry and I had no particular reason why I should cry. I had some issues with my leg that I thought was related to that and it turned out to be my arthritis. After about a week things settled down but then I finally had to stop after 6 months because I had problems with breakthrough bleeding.

One of the most common side effects of the pill such as Yaz can be weight gain, but when I took it I actually lost nearly 10 lbs while on it. Spotting can occur as well for some women (different from full-blown breakthrough bleeding).
