If this site is any indication, these folks are everywhere. Since i live around all whites, i'm wondering how many of my associates and friends are closet racists, but have "accepted" me because I don't fit negative black stereotypes.

Any idea? Is it possible to be racist against but have friends/lovers who are the race you despise?

People may harbor certain bigoted opinions, and some times have very good reasons. Just because people mistrust a certain group it doesn't mean they're bad or don't have a reason for it. Despite that most people don't allow their personal feelings to get in the way of personal relationships or just simply being polite. Being racist or at least having negative race related opinions isn't the worse thing in the world. Stop trying to make it a bigger deal than it is.
