Me and my family eat together every meal that we are all at home together. We prey then eat breakfast, we prey then eat lunch and we prey then eat dinner. You never know when the time will come when you will not be able to eat with them anymore.

sitdown dinner is too old-fashioned. I had to do it when I was a kid and I don't think I benefited at all from it. If your parents are jerks, having a sitdown dinner isn't going to make it all better.

Always eat together as a family... It is the best time for all of us to watch TV together before everyone wanders off to play video games, go on the computer, do homework, or workout. If not for dinner, we would never watch TV together!

My family tries to eat together, whether at the table, infront of the TV, or at a restaraunt. Now that all the kids are grown and out of the house (with the exception of me, who is only home from college), there aren't too many activities that keep us from eating together.
