Birth control pills won't terminate a pregnancy that's already implanted. A large number of pills at once can cause side effects like nausea and vomiting though.

Certain birth control pills containing the progestin Levonorgestrel can be used as emergency contraception, and are best taken within 72 hours of intercourse, but can be used up to 120 hours after intercourse. Plan B is available in many countries over the counter, and is made specifically for use as emergency contraception.

You can skip your inactive pills. They don't really do anything anyway. They are just sugar pills. The only reason they are there is to get you into the habit of taking the pill every day. If you skip those inactive pills, make sure you pick right back up again after the 7 days. Don't start altering the schedule. Perhaps you should push one out and flush it down the sink or drain just so you can keep track.

Nothing. If you need to terminate a pregnancy, you need to see a doctor. If you don't know if you're pregnant and you think that your period just might be late, go to the grocery and buy a bunch (as in a group, not as in 'alot') of fresh parsely.

Eat a wad of fresh parsely (about the size of yout thumb if it's wadded up). If your period is late, it should start within a day or two.

Again, if you are pregnant, seek help!!! Talk to a trusted adult. You can get through this! :)

Good luck! :)

It won't cause a miscarriage, if that's what you're asking. You probably won't feel right and could potentially cause harm to yourself. Here are some things you may experience with a birth control overdose:

Excessive vaginal bleeding (2-7 days following the overdose)
Breast tenderness
Discoloration of urine
Rash
Nausea and vomiting
Headache
Drowsiness
Mental changes

If that's an attempt to terminate the pregnancy, don't try it. Either way, it could make you very sick. Go see a doctor for help if you think you are pregnant. They can help you decide on the best course of action.

First off,,,why would you!?! If you are trying to prevent pregnancy...they sell Over-the-counter,,,the day after pill. I would NEVER take 7 bc pills. MEDICINE IS NOT SOMETHING TO PLAY AROUND WITH BECAUSE YOU THINK YOU'RE PREGNANT!!! GROW UP!

1st of all that is not the way to go about it. you can make yourself very very sick and if you were preg it could very much so harm the baby.
it is not recommended to do that at all. if you need the plan b go to your pharmacy or to planned parenthood and they can give it to you if it has been w/ in the last 72 hrs of unprotected intercourse. if you know you are preg and you dont want to be.. then you know your other option. i do not believe in it so im not going to say it. if you are that irresponsible and can not remember to take your pills maybe you should find another birth control option (ring, patch, iud) something you dont have to worry about or remember to take.

If your endocrine system ain't broken, don't EVEN THINK of trying to fix it. Meddling with it can cause physical and mental symptoms!!

If you think it is broken, get your gonads, hypothalamus, adrenals, thyroid, etc (and your self and your @ss) to your doctor and, if necessary, to an endocrinologist.
