The verbs IR and VENIR, talking about where you are going or who is coming to a place??

What do i say?

ir means go
venir means come


"donde vas a ir" where are you going"



"when are you comming"

Well, let's see. The use of this verbs depends on the sentence.

For example.

¿Vas a ir hoy en la noche? = Are you going tonight?

Mi hermano no puede venir con nosotros, tiene una cita. = My brother can't come with us, he has a date.

Here are some conjugations of the verbs.

Ir = To go

Present - Presente
Yo voy
Tú vas
Él va
Nosotros vamos
Ustedes van
Ellos van

Past - Pasado
Yo fui
Tú fuiste
Él fue
Nosotros fuimos
Ustedes fueron
Ellos fueron

Future - Futuro
Yo iré

Venir = To come

More examples:

No sé a dónde ir de vacaciones = I don't know where to go on vacation

¿Me recomendarías un lugar para ir con mis amigos? = Would you recommend me a place to go with my friends?

Mamá ¿de dónde vienen los bebés? = Mom, where do babies come from?

¿Viniste a la escuela ayer? = Did you come to school yesterday?

You say: 'voy' for IR ( I go)
and: 'vengo' for VENIR (I come)
