Dennis Martinez hit him in the eye with a pitch in 1995.

Reva makes a good point - the glaucoma that ended his career can't be tied to the pitch that hit him.

Dennis Martinez.

Martinez was not a head hunter, and it had nothing to do with Puckett developing glaucoma in that eye a few months later.
