I throw them out one at a time and replace them with something more suitable.

Been there...done that....when I was 15, I lived in Spain...I was going to night clubs and I was wearing little shirts and skimpy stuff....I see myself with that now...and I would probably start crying! I went from wearing the same stuff she is...to dressing with class and style (I'm 20...I don't even consider myself a grown up). Sometimes the more you cover...the better, you leave more for the imagination.
Ok...now, she is in high school...she sees a lot of girls wearing that kind of stuff, and she wants to be like them! High school years are very influential towards girls, some girls become emo, or goth, or preppy, all in two years. She is going through those stages, maybe in two months she'll be wearing Abercombie and Fitch sweatshirts and jeans.
Just keep a very close eye on what she does, what kind of friends she has, what they do when they hang out...and if you see that she starts getting into trouble, then make sure you are there for her.

Not much you can do. After all, you are not the parent. If your parents don't care that she dresses skimpy then she has no reason to stop.
You are right on. This could lead to big problems.. Maybe she doesn't realize the affect this can have on boys and men. She may not know that some males think this is teasing. That they could actually force themselves on her or trick her into something that she is not ready for. One of your parents should speak to her about this. Then she will know what the consequences of her actions could be.

Suggest to her to dress a little bit more appropriately for her age. It could lead into bigger problems, she may get a bad rep, and older guys could hit on her and take advantage of her. I know if this was my sister, I would take her out shopping and have her try on different styles of clothing. And have her realize that she doesn't have dress the way she is currently dressing, it gives people a bad impression of her. You may want to do something about this soon though, because her clothes may get skimpier due to summer coming. Good luck!

Take her to a high rated store for young people with models who show off the clothing. It's not that you have to buy there, but it will give her an opportunity to see what young ladies are wearing her age. Also, sit and talk with her and let her know that the more she shows, the less the boys will have to wonder. If you have a male friend, or father-figure in the picture, allow him to also comment about the chasity of women and their responsibilty to dress appropriately. Our school system has made the jump to help eliminiate the quest for the best clothing in our schools. Beginning fall, students will have to wear khaki pants, school colored collar shirts and tennis shoes or dress shoes. No jeans, or hoodies, or other fashinonable and often revealing clothing. I hope your sister will understand, you are not taking away her identity or desire to dress for fun, but helping her learn to dress responsibly.

Ugh...I hate it when I see a young beautiful girl dressed like she's "on display" for perverts. Just try talking to her. Tell her about all of the bad things that could happen to her, like rape, pregnancy, std's, bad reputation, etc... Explain to her that she can still look desirable without having to show so much skin and/or other parts.
Sure, she's a teenager and most likely won't listen to you. Sadly, she may have to learn the hard way. At least you tried, right? I hope she listens to you and changes her ways. Good luck.

More than likely she is doing it because the guys at her school like that kind of stuff. Or her friends are wearing them. You should take her shopping and show her nice clothes that ARE cute. And just because your not dressed like a hooch doesnt mean you cant be cute. Let her know that cute things come from the clothes not whats under them.

Tell her beauty comes from within. If you're pretty people can see that from you just by being yourself. Most people dont think about it this way. You do not have to be revealing to b pretty and accepted.

These days, T shirts are longer and shorts are turning into knee length. Do you have $ to take her clothes shopping -- and see what's popular today?

Let your parents worry about that.
You could talk to her and ask her why she likes to wear certian things but she probably won't listen to you when you tell her what you think.
