I know I should have paid more attention when I signed up, but I didn't. I already HAVE Yahoo Photo. I know they are closing, so I signed up with Flickr. But I must have done something wrong, because it is supposed to let me MERGE it with my Yahoo Photo account and it doesn't. Do I really have to RELOAD all my photos into Flickr? Does anyone have a work-around for this problem?

No, no need to reload all your images.
They have not released the merge program yet, it appears they were having problems. The last word is that it will be later this summer and you should be notified about it as well.
