No. This is not odd at all. I live in sunny, hot Los Angeles, CA. I despise the heat and overly sunny days. I prefer a nice moderate temp of about 55 degrees. I look forward to cloudy, rainy days. Not weird...Just what you like and prefer!

I used to love the heat and the summer months because I lived in Texas for 18 years. Then, I moved to the East Coast and discovered this concept of not having air conditioning. That's when I started to love the wintery months. I just think snow is a really magical thing.

Nah, your not weird. You enjoy cooler short days.
But sorry moving to Alaska isn't gonna save you from the sun during the summer or heat. It might not super hot, but you know that feeling when you hold a magnify-glass to your skin, it gets like that sometimes. And the sun might go down like at 3 something in the summer for a few minutes. Now Winter....You'll be in heaven. Cold as hell and dark. lol

Nope. you just don't like hot. I don't either but I live in Texas and I have to DEAL with it. I have for my whole life!! Here, a regular summer day s about 95 deg. F. A HOT summer day is about 105 deg.F. In winter, the coldest it usually gets is 20-30 (rarely though). Haha, yeah why not move to Alaska!lol I would love to see the northern lights.

i'm with you! i love the fall and winter weather. i live in a moderate climate so i dont get much of the 35 degree weather. i would love that! i think the night is so much more exciting!! i love the night sky and the stars. and i get to wear different clothes and shoes and boots. i adore the cool, dark weather. the more threatening the sky, the more i like it!

We must be related. I like it to be between 45 and 75 and that's it. I think heat makes people crabby. Humidity leaves people feeling even worse. YES, I think Alaska is a great idea.

That would only help you six months out of the year. The other half of the year it would be daylight for nearly 18 hours
