Gold shoes are "loud" so I would keep the dress simple. A bright print dress and gold shoes could look tacky.
I would keep it as basic as possible - like a cute black or red dress.

Black is always appropriate with gold shoes as well as white. Other colors that you can wear gold shoes include red, blue, burgandy, beige, brown, green (deep money green) Gold shoes dressed with colors are a terrific match!

Red, peach, navy, or a very subtle green would all look very classy with gold shoes. Only SMALL prints, if you must do a print. =)
Have fun!
Ooh...white would look great too!! Stay away from black, tan, brown, or gray. These would all clash.

Yeah i could pass with a gold or champagne colored snatch to examine your footwear, the different shade could look unusual & it may be too many hues for the outfit. relies upon on what the development could be. as long because it is not a shade remote from gold or the colour of your gown i could say definite. & do you have gold rings to examine your footwear? that should look super!

Hot Pink!!! Finish it off with similar gold accessories like earrings/necklace/bracelettes -- very 80s retro and fabulous.

brown, beige, black for a hip urban look or white for a more summery look.
I definitely wouldn't do pink and I think red and gold is too...flashy or hookerish for my taste and navy blue just doesn't good with gold.

Cream or black with gold trim, or, failing that, a lot of gold jewelry.
