I certainly understand your premise. But for me personally, it is when time gets tough, that faith is at its most important time and when it really gets tested. During trials and tribulation is the time to let your faith really stand out and shine. That is the best time to show yuor faith.

Adversity is the true test of faith. I have lived my life(and I am a little old) especially when is sucks, by the adage "things happen for a reason". It has gotten me through some very dark times.

All of your answer is based on how strong your faith is and what your faith is based upon. For instance, the Israelites witnessed several miracles, i.e., 10 plagues, parting of the Red Sea,etc., however, they still lacked faith in God. They walked by sight. We don't witness those type of miracles anymore but we still have evidence of God in a variety of ways. However, unless our believe is based on accurate knowledge of God, it won't be very strong and when things go wrong, as they will, your faith won't survive the test. (Proverbs 24:10) Our faith in God shouldn't be based on when things are going right for us. If that were the basis for relationships, everytime something went wrong with your best friend, you'd say, "well. call me when things work out, I can't handle this," and leave. You wouldn't be a very good friend, would you?

Yes I agree that it is harder to have faith during the rough times but real faith will guide you through the even the roughest of times.

i disagree ,just because things are not always going the way we want them it doesn't mean we stop having faith and hope!If we believe in ourselves luck gets back at us and life is not always perfect after all......you don't have to waist time being miserable and then it turns out to be ok...it's wrong ,be happy either way if something going to happen it is, even if you are happy or not..believe it or not...so DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY!

awww, your avitar is so cute. what was the ?

I feel the same whether going good or not. I don't blame God or Jesus or anyone when things go bad. I look at the situation and fix the problem, If I can't fix it, then I accept it.

Sometimes that is true, but some cling to their faith more tightly when under pressure
