Wow, tough question..... best ACTUAL wrestlers ever;

Eddie Guerrero (rip man)
Chris Benoit
Kurt Angle

All round best "superstars"

Triple H
Kane (preferrably with mask)
Undertaker
The Rock (i dont like him, but he was great)
Stone Cold Steve Austin (dont like him, but great too)
Shawn Micheals
Ultimate Warrior

But i think overrall THE best were Triple H and Undertaker (storylines, characters, intensity, acting, wrestling)

Edit: to the person above,... i think if you think john cenas THE best wwe superstar ever... nevermind your son, and im not attacking you here, Then you mustnt know many wwe superstars.... hes NO WHERE near the best ever.

there is actual not an respected settlement as to who's the excellent WWE celeb in history, via fact there is too many superstars and legends to count huge style: The Von Erich relatives, The Rock, Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, superb Warrior, Undertaker, Sting, Kurt attitude, Brock Lesnar, Steve Austin, Bret Hart, Macho guy Randy Savage, Triple H...those human beings suited there are hall of repute worth and half of them are merely enormously much as good as part, if no extra advantageous.

There is not one best I think. There never will be untill WWE goes out of business. Some that stand out are Dusty Rhodes, Hulk, Superfly, Macho Man Randy Savage, The Rock, Stone Cold, Triple H, HBK, Mick Foley, Undertaker and Bret The Hitman Hart.

Stone Cold Steve Austin - no contest. He had the look, the gimmick, the in-ring smarts, the mic skills & the wrestling ability too.He could brawl all night & still come right back at you.He had his neck broken at Summerslam 1997 & still finished the match.
He had the nerve to challenge Vince & Shane & feud with them.He defined the Attitude Era of the mid-90's & turned the fortunes of the WWE around at a time when it wasn't as popular as it is now.
He was an all-round star who had the ppl eating out of his hand with his "What?" chants & "Gimme a hell yeah!" Brilliant wrestler & brilliant Superstar.

Bret "The Hitman" Hart would be my choice. Multiple time tag team champion ( with different partners ),King of the Ring Winner, Royal Rumble winner, multi time intercontintal champion, 5 time WWE World Champion, WCW U.S. Champion, WCW World Heavyweight Champion.... Second choice is a 3-way tie between Hulk Hogan ( 7 time WWF/WWE Champion, former tag team Champion), Triple H ( 10 time Champion, tag team champion, I/C Champion, European Champion, King of the Ring, Royal Rumble Winner) or the Undertaker,( multi time World Champion, undefeated record at WrestleMania)

Bret Hart because I felt he kept the WWE alive during the 90's

I also liked Jean Pierre Lafitte. Although I thought the gimmick was lame he was a good wrestler. He is now wrestling as Carl Pierre Oulette. I thought the late Bam Bam was good because he was so agile for his weight.

I think the best ever for me was The Ultimate Warrior, he was just excitement personified at the time, the fans would go totally apes**t when he came out, it was awesome, and he didn't have to cut 25 minute promos either. He took out hogan, he beat Andre, Undertaker, DESTROYED HHH, Ultimate Warrior was the man!!!!
