Introductory paragraph

A. Catches the reader's interest

B. Gives brief background on your topic

C. Begins or ends with the thesis statement

Body (paragraphs 2, 3, etc.)

A. Develops, expands, and/or supports the thesis statement

B. Includes a topic sentence for each paragraph

C. Includes supporting details which reinforce the topic sentence.

Concluding paragraph

A. Restates the thesis or sums up the argument.

B. Tells the reader what you think is important to remember. (Often, this is a personal response).

C. Never introduce new information in the conclusion. Extend your thinking on something from the essay.

Just pick a topic and follow those guidelines, basically just talk about what you want to say in the 1st paragraph, in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th paragraphs give info about whatever it is, and then in the last paragraph basically just restate all that stuff. hope this helps.

1. Choose a topic
2. research your topic
3. form an outline
4. write a thesis statement
Ex: (Cats) (make better pets than dogs) because (they are cleaner), (they are more independent), and (they help relieve stress).
Don't use this. It is the simplest of examples showing subject, statement, and the points you want to prove.
5. Write your introduction using the thesis statement. Write the body of your paper using the points you want to prove (1 paragraph per point). Write a conclusion which is merely a closing paragraph reasserting your thesis statement and ending with a comment.
6. Cite all sources

Good luck

First of all, be in 8th grade. Secondly, write an essay.

What are you asking? You need to choose a subject, decide what you want to say about that subject and then write about it.
