Islam has had a negative affect on the world since its inception. It has spread from the start on the point of a sword, with horrific results for those who do not convert. It is a religion born in violence and spread through invasion and conquest. Those who call Islam the "Religion of Peace" deny the very tenets upon which it was founded.
