NO. He will go down in history as being the youngest Prime Minister who has won three successive elections and who has brought the economy of the country higher than it ever has been. I..for one...am very sorry to see him go. He stands taller than any other Prime Minister we have had and the ONLY mistake he has made was the Gulf War and following Bush but apart from that he has been a fantastic PM> We are going to regret his going you will see!!!! He is a man not a God and everyone on earth makes a mistake sooner or later.

I'm not sure only because I can't think of Prime Minister who could be considered infamous..... Neville Chamberlain for his appeasement policy maybe.... and even Margaret Thatcher for the Poll tax almost every Prime Minister has made a huge mistake in his or her career apart from possibly Churchill.

Of course not. What on earth has he done to be termed "infamous". He has been a good prime minister and people will realise this in time. He changed the face of Labour and indeed politics in this country which were stagnating. He won three elections for god sake.

Winston Churchill and Margaret Thatcher will have to share the podium with Mr. Blair. Is Queen going to knight him anytime soon (if not already)? Even that he is from Labour party?

He'd have to go some to overtake Neville Chamberlain or Margaret Thatcher in the infamy stakes, so no.
