I've got one big issue I think both sides are wack about, and another where I agree with the cons, but for most issues I'm liberal. What's that one liberal stance you take despite being a conservative, or vice versa--what's the one thing you are conservative about despite being liberal on other issues?
And which issues do neither side have a clue about?

Gay marriage... I think God is against homosexuality but i think that it is a personal religious issue and i have no right to judge them based on their personal religious beliefs... as long as they don't want to get married in MY church I don't care what they do...

My biggest complaint would have to be "Reaganomics", or trickle down theory. The basic idea is that lower taxes on the business end results in higher pay and benefits for the workers. In theory it is a great idea, but reality has shown us that has driven up executive salaries and bonuses, reduced benefits and wages of the working class and shifted production to countries with lower labor costs all in the name of increasing corporate profits and shareholder dividends.

I cant think of anything right off the bat. I know there has to be a few, but right now only the major issues are coming to mind and I agree with conservatives on those. I will update when I think of them.

Both parties have embraced Laissez-faire Capitalism/globalization. I disagree with both of them.
Both parties seem to be beholden to Corporations and the Pentagon. I also disagree with that.

I'm a registered Libertarian. I disagree with my party on a number of issues, such as privatizing the police force, and I'm at odds with the isolationism most Libertarians prefer.
One issue no politician seems to have a clue about is Immigration. (Actually, they all know exactly what's going on, and exactly what to do to fix it, they just don't /want/ to fix it.)

Gun control - does not solve violence
drug wars - does not prevent drug use or reduce crime
and against both parties on their own individual views on amnesty...since they both promote amnesty for illegal immigrants, just in different ways. niether view helps American workers, or legal immigrants.

i'm liberal but i like to shoot things. i'm not a fan of abortion but i'm still pro choice. I support more social reform but that's in the other direction. I support business, especially small businesses.
