If she is 22 then she is a young woman not a girl. Money is always good. Or a gift certificate to a office supply or teacher supply company. Teachers have to pay for any number of classroom items themselves.

I'm a teacher of English and I think you can present her a special gift ,like a ditiguished gold ring .She'll remember you for ever . Or you can present her some videos ,c,ds or any means that can help her in her career.you can also give her tips for being patient because i know what does teaching English for non native speakers mean ,especially to young learners .May Allah help her .

Depends on your relationship...if you're her mother, maybe you could buy her a diamond tennis bracelet. If she's just a friend or not family, maybe you could send her some flowers where she might not expect them, and then buy her something that she has also talked about wanting....don't be afraid to splurge---she'll only see this day once
