There are a lot of software company's that deliberately put trackers and links like ad-ware on to there software, this is to prevent people from duplicating the software. and only become active if the software is coped. If this is the case where a company is deliberately selling software that is infected with virusess then this can be reported to Microsoft themselves and I am sure they will be able to point you in the right direction. In the mean time get a good anti-viruse program on your computer along with a good firewall just to protect your PC. Viruses can be a bit of a pain to get rid of and the worse case is they damage the boot sector and it's a format and Restoration of the OS, so it's better to be safe than sorry, avoid buying software form this souse and let as many people know as you can.

You better come with strong proofs that the software that you are about to report was infected. Your PC might have been infected before that software got installed. Just be careful as you don't want find yourself sued for diffamation with a 200K to pay as damage for spraying false rumors.
