Try Terro. It's worked for me several times!

It's a poison that smells sweet and doesn't work immediately, so the ants collect it and take it back to their nests and share it with the whole colony. It's very effective at eliminating the ant problem.

Any Mint oil will work. Ants hate the stuff. If you can figure out where they are getting into the house from. You'll need to seal it off if you can. Ounce they find a good place for food & shelter its hard to get them to stop.
You can even plant mint plants near areas of concern. But watch it Mint is very invasive. It spreads fast.

You can try rubbing your sink and counter with Cucumber. And there is Stuff you can get at Walmart Torodon or something similar you put a couple drops on some cardboard - thick paper and place it where the ants are they suck down that syrup stuff take it back to the nest and it kills themselves and the rest eventually.

Try to find their point of entry and seal that area.
Make sure there is no moisture or food to attract them.
Any of the commercial ant sprays will help take care of what are present and the above measures will help keep more problems from developing.

Use same amounts measured of boric acid and icing sugar, is deadly to ants, roaches and is not harmful to humans or pets.
Sprinkle around the outside of you home even inside where you normally see the ants.

I had an ant problem and I was told to mix vinegar and bleach and poor on top of the ant beds. It worked on all the "piss ants".

ihave read on here that essential peppermint oil is good for ants they dont like the smell
