Both Andrew Johnson and Richard Nixon had Impeachments procedures against them for "high crimes and misdemeanors".
Johnson was acquitted twice. Nixon resigned when confronted with his loss of political support and the near certainty of both his impeachment by the House of Representatives, and his probable conviction by the Senate. Check Wikipedia for details.
