It doesn't seem to bother he but it bothers me to hear it. She doesn't know how to cough it up either, so she has had this for a lil over a month now. What can I do to help her or help get rid of the cough. I have tryed tylonal cough and cold. I have also tried pediacare for coughs. I have put vicks on her chest at night and nothing has helped I have even tried a humidifer?

I think the best thing to do is take her to her pedi. He/she can prescribe some antibiotics for her.

It is probably allergies - sinuses draining all night causing a cough in the morning. I would take her to the doctor and confirm this though because she has had it for so long (over 2 weeks). Also I would advise this because sometimes it can go to their ears (if it is an infection). It is probably sinusitis which will need an antibiotic to clear it up.
Is the discharge from the nose clear?
Running a humidifier is good. Baby Vick's is also good stuff.
As a side note I would add that the doctor has told me that it is better not to give children under 3 anything for their coughs because otc medicine is not very effective in young children and can be dangerous.

Heavy-Duty Onion Poultice

To break up heavy lung congestion, as in pneumonia, or to soothe the inflammation of bronchitis, consider the anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, secretion-stimulating action of this treatment. It takes some preparation, but the results are well worth the effort.
• Simmer a large, thinly sliced, yellow onion in water until just softened.
• Place the onion on a piece of white cloth (cheesecloth, cotton diaper or linen napkin) and fold it up to make a packet.
• Carefully apply to your child’s congested area, making sure it is not too hot to the touch, and cover with a terrycloth towel to retain the heat.
• As the onion poultice cools on your child’s chest, prepare another one to replace it.
• This procedure can be repeated several times using fresh onions for each poultice.

I know it sounds weird but I did this with my 9 month old because he could'nt cough it up either. It really worked. This actually helped get the phlem out.

If it's in her chest, it's worth a trip to the doctor. (Put your ear to her chest or back - if you hear a rattle or wheeze, make the appointment ASAP.)

If it's just a postnasal drip, try elevating the head of her mattress a little with a folded towel or let her sleep in her baby seat - if the drip is causing the cough, that might ease it a little. You can also try a little Dimetapp to dry her up a little.

Take her to the doctor. If the cold is in her chest, they may have to prescribe medication to help her clear it.
