She should be ashamed of herself and apologize for her careless remarks towards bush:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/6637...

Bush is not perfect and may occasionally slip up words but how dare this old hag harass and ridiculing him over it. If the UK is attacked by the USA over this, the blood will be on the Queen's hands. Again, shame on her since this is no way to treat the leader of the free world!

You are a complete idiot!!

a. Bush accidently implied that the Queen was 300 years old so she glared at him as just about anyone would.
b. Bush makes enough of a fool of himself without anyone's help.
c. I think well done for ridiculing him - he is an idiot.
d. You should be ashamed of yourself for ridiculing the Queen by calling her an "old hag".
d. Why the hell would the UK be attacked by the USA over this - get a life that's pathetic.
e. Bush is NOT the leader of the free world - he's an incompetant fool who thinks the USA is the centre of the universe and there may not be much of a world, free or otherwise left in the future as a result of global warming because Bush is too selfish about oil and America's economy to stop global warming!!

Your link is not correct and is not showing what you are talking about, but I think I know the story. The Queen did not attack President Bush. You really need to learn how to read what is passing as news today carefully.Ill-educated editors and reporters are more interested in sensationalizing stories than in printing the facts. The Queen took Bush's gaffe in good grace;she looked at the President and said,"Wrong year." And Bush winked at her as if to apologize and responded, and she gave a look only a mother can give..."

I am sure that the Queen was not offended by the President;how could she be? She knows that it is difficult to make public speeches and harmless slips of the tongue happen.

What is offensive is scandal-mongering rags pretending to report news but putting a slant on it so it is not the complete truth!

your pathetic!!!

its true what they say that americans have no sense of humour.
the queen done nothing wrong she was making a remark about something that **** Bush started himself.
Bush ridicules himself all by himself he doesnt need the queen helping him. The Queen doesnt need to apologies for anything she dont nothing wrong. The U.S.A would never attack us over a petty comment, your *** is more likly to get attack then ours. Leader of the free world hahahahahaha america is no way a free world, you cant even disagree with your own leader without getting arrested, i dont think thats a free world do you.

I suggest you go back to kissing bush's *** and grow up and get a sense of humour

President Bush doesn't need The Queen (or anybody else) to ridicule him. He's more than capable of doing that all by himself.

As for what she said, it was a little light teasing. If anyone is so thin skinned that that would bother them then leading a country would not be the job for them. To his credit Bush laughed along with everyone else and when making his speech in reply he said something like he couldn't top that. As for The Queen, she's married to a man who's well known for the odd gaffe or two of his own; she's very used to them!

What did she say, the link doesn't go anywhere? Anyway, she can say what she likes. I think George Bush is far from perfect and gave up the leader of the free world title a long time ago. And who in their right mind would go to war over anything she said?

What is wrong with you? She can say anything she wants and Bush is an ***...the poor thing doesn`t know left from right and no blood needs to be spread.

Bush is not occasionally stupid, he is occasionally asertive and for someone who holds such power is a frightening thought.

Cool off, there are more important things to take care of than this.

Leader of the Free World ???? How many people can say that with a straight face !

I think the US president should stick to being just that & not worry about the "Free World". It would cost America a lot less, give America more time to resolve its domestic problems & make relations with the rest of the world much less difficult.

God man, chill out !!!
She was only trying to make a little joke :] If you Americans actually had a sense of humour you might actually get it !!!
And anyhow .. it was George Bush who implied that the Queen was over 300 years old in the first place !!!
Or did you manage to forget that ...?

Dude, your link doesn't work.

I think the USA is quite capable of stirring up hatred against itself. What is a small joke by her majesty compared to the invasion of Iraq?

I really have to ask. Why is gwb so awesome? Just because he made it to President?

You Americans identify the man with the office far too closely. You really shouldn't hold your politicians in such awe. Its not healthy for democracy.
