well i have a oranda named cheeky, of course he got his name from his cheeky wen. the problem is his wen is growing so much that im worried about it obstructing his vision. what can i do? his wen seems to never stop growing!

im worried about it growing so much around his cheeks under his eyes.

There's not much you can do. The amount of growth is going to be determined by his genetics. The wens can be trimmed, but the growth will return, plus you'd be putting the fish at risk for an infection.

If you've got other fish in the tank, he might have a problem getting enough food, but if he's an "only fish" he can use senses other than his site to find any food in his tank.

I wouldn't worry too much mine seemed to do the same thing when he was about half grown, after 2 years he was beautiful!

I wouldn't worry about it.

Even if it was messing with his vision, there's nothing you can do about it anyway.
