They are all original in great shape and are all from 1956-1962. I would hate to sell all at once as each one would be worth more to certain people, but it would take me forever to list every one separate. Examples..Blanche,Feelings,Soldier Boy ( by Four Fellows) 95% are all slow doo wop ballads. All of Jimmy Clantons songs. You name it and I probably have it. "You" by Aquatones, Susie Darlin, Teen Prayer by The Velveteens ( very very rare.) Is Ebay my only option?? I have owned these records since my teen years and now I'm 65 and am trying to sell all my past sentimental memories. I have a record by Dion , his 1st when his group was called the Timberlanes the song was " The Chosen Few" Ive heard the rareness of this record alone is worth quite a bit.

Most 45's even in mint aren't worth very much, maybe a couple of quid.
Perhaps you would be better finding out the value of your rarities and splitting your collection into individual valuables and sell the others as bulk in auction. The Record collector magazine may give some indication of the worth of some of your collection,or perhaps they may be on here
http://www.vinylrecords.co.uk/
or some other such site.

I'd transfer them to CD's before I flogged em though

I would suggest using an auction site like Ebay. You could probably gauge the value of each record from past auctions and add shipping costs to determine just about how much these records are worth. The link is http://www.ebay.com

I think your best bet would be ebay, and you could seel them separatly on there, or in groups based on genre and what not. Also, if you sell them on there, let me know so I can check them out!! What else have you got? And how much were you thinking of selling them for??

I would not use ebay. their are other places that will not charge you

www.recordcollectorsguild.org

www.gemm.com

craigslist.org

you can sell them to Half-Price Books and Magazines or local record shops, but they won't give you much for them.

look for sites like this

or ebay, but remember, just because they are sentimental to you does not mean they are worth alot.
