No Mother should take a child out, sick with anything communicable from a cold or chicken pox, etc. Though we have no children, we have a "house rule" that all our friends and even long-term handyman know .... do not show up if you even think you are sick.
When you answer the door and you are concerned about the sickness of the twins, I would step outside and say I cannot invite you in, etc.
This is your home and as a parent you are charge to be responsible and intelligent, even if your friend is not.

Its best to have your kids GET the chicken pox when they're young, they get fight it quickly and wont ever get it again. If they get older and have them, they can get REALLY sick and have them for a longer period of time. This is why now a days parents have a "chicken pox party", if there child has the chicken pox they invite other children over to get them so they dont have to worry about it later on life.

LMAO! I'll leave them home with a babysitter. Don't worry! You are such an overprotective mom sometimes. Relax a little!

Who cares if they have it or not?
Afraid that your kids will get it?
Well they do anyway.
Better now,than later in life.
