Or estimated amount of support if they hadn't started polling on that yet.

I'm curious to see who they are. I know one of the very lowest was Lincoln, who is now regarded as one of our two greatest presidents.

I'm sure Johnson was low as well since he was impeached by the house. Buchanan is sorta known as the worst president.

Approval ratings were introduced in the 1930s by George Gallop. So I doubt Lincoln had the lowest approval rating, if he did it was an accurate statistical study, it probably included the confederate states which obviously wouldn't support him.

The highest rating belongs to George W. Bush after 9/11. Lowest was Truman at 22% according to wikipedia.

The only reason the moron is above single digits is that many religious people still think that if he talks a lot about god he must be a good guy. Bush is the worst thing that could have happened to this country. Islam just was able to exploit him.

You should only take approval ratings from people who vote.If you took approval ratings for people that vote from across the country youll get close to 50% approval rating for Bush.If you take the poll in downtown Washington D.C you'll get maybe 1% approval rating.

Nixon, Carter, G.W. Bush.

Lincolns approval in the south was very low, its true, but his support in the north was not terrible.
