I think they finally have their act together these past episodes and are answering them quite nicely.
I was a whining fan, but now I'm excited and can't wait for the next few episodes

To tell you the truth, I love that. It's the only show on TV that I really can't predict the answers. Most shows are so predictable that I can practically guess the next thing each character will say! I have been right about a few of Lost's questions but most are still a complete surprise. It helps me sharpen my reasoning skills. (Not that this show is reasonable.)
I saw Evangeline Lilly on Jimmy Kimmel last night. She said that when she saw the "reveal" that they will reveal in this season's finale, it gave her goosebumps. She could not wait for people to find out what it is! Now I am really on the edge of my seat! Now that they know how many more episodes their will be until the series finale they will be able to answer more questions per episode. Just be patient.

It would be nice if they would reveal a few things. Not everything, but a few. And then leave the audience in suspense with the rest of the stuff. I wish I understood what the Dharma project was. Even as they reveal more I still don't understand. I started watching this show last season. I did not see the 1st or prior season/s and it took me a long time to figure out what was going on, and who was who. So again they overdue it. Reveal at least some mysteries.

Well I think they are answering more questions this season than they ever had. But I enjoy the show just as much now as I did in the begining. You know a good way to keep up with everything is the weekly LOST podcast with Damon Lindeloff and Carlton Cuse (executive producer). You can get it on your iPOD

I love that there is question after question.
I'm beginning to piece some things together, but I'll keep it to myself for now, in case I'm wrong. :-)
As for the person who mentioned Michael and Walt - I think that they will be back. Not sure why - but it seems that noone can come or go from the island. I think that they are at another part of it or in limbo somewhere.....

You took the words right out of my mouth. I have been saying this for weeks. I don't understand how the writers keep spiraling further outwards with the plot without answering past questions. I am still bitter about the way Michael and Walt "left" the island without any of our questions answered as to what happened to Walt and why was he taken? Why did michael shoot LIbby and Ana Lucia? Was he brainwashed? Now, we have this Jacob character who is presumably the leader of the Others. Is this heading towards a mystical storyline? How does this tie in to the fate of the crash victims of flight 815? I'm still a big fan but I'm wondering if the plot resolution will ever make sense.

LOST had me frustrated and still does. But I do enjoy the show and love how I am kept guessing. As far as the Jacob, still images captured by fanboys in HD appear to look like a young John Locke with hair. Just a little tidbit

Yes, there are a hell of a lot of question, but the producers assure as they will all be answered. There are three seasons to go with 16 episodes per season taking us up to 2010. They also tell us that you will be finding out many of these answers a lot sooner than you think!
HTH : )

I think that having so many unanswered questions is interesting. The anticipation keeps people watching. The only problem I see is that there are too many commercials.
