I had a c-section on the 18th of April and they took the staples out a week and 2 days later... can I have a bath now? (I do take showers - for the rude ppl out there)

Girl I had my one and only c-section back in 1999 (my other 3 were vaginal as I hope this one is) and I remember my whole body hurting so bad especially my stomach that it hurt to sit on my butt much less do anything else...because of my heavy blood flow after the section I do believe I wasnt allowed to soak in a bath until after my 6 week checkup, only showers were allowed. So if I were you and unsure call and ask your doctor!

Yes you can. My sister-in-law had it too and she started having real baths about 10 days later but very gently and carefully especially around your stomach.
It should be healing up now but some bodies are delicate and take longer to heal. Watch it closely, if u notice any anomally around there, stop using bath tubes or shower, use towels and let your doctor know immediately.

i had a bath 5 days after my c-section, i wasn't ever told to not have one! everything was fine, i had a bath every 2 days.

yes but slowly...you dont want to be hurt...my sister had c sec. like 5 months ago ......she was in alot of pain....im sorry....try warm baths...wipe with cloths

do as much as you think you can recoving from a c section is hard.

nope not til after yuor 6 week check up. call your doctor and ask them please to be sure
