Grew up in the 60's-70's. Didn't really find music until the mid-70's. Previously, never paid attention to it. Could've done without Dad's Glenn Miller/Lawrence Welk stuff though ... scarred me for life lol

My parents, your grandparents era, made sure we were cultured in all music from classical to jazz to music of the era. I still enjoy the radio station where the music of my parents' era is still played, as well as rap and hiphop, classical. I think music is a legacy for all generations.

My mom did too! Now I can really appreciate music from all over the world. It's great to expose your kids to many types of music and people so that they can become more well rounded. Good work!

i grew up listening to everything, jazz, r & b, rock. my parents were musicans so it was natural to have music playing in the house. instead of playing outside with the kids, i was sitting in jazz clubs listening to my parents play. i think that is great that you can pass that along to your children. they need that enrichment in their lives.

Opera. Mostly Italian. Thank goodness. It is an art form that you deeply love, or you don't. You can learn to appreciate and like, but, you cannot "learn" to love.
