You could see his arm when he threw Ben into the wall and afterwards when the camera panned over from Ben to Locke you could see Jacob sitting in the chair. If you didn't see it go to abc.com and and continuously hit the play/pause button to slow the video down and you will see him sitting there.

I am not sure what the heck I saw or didn't see. I taped the show and re-ran it over and over and still can't figure it out. The show has done it again, I am totally "lost" in Lost. I don't know what the heck is going on or why. Is Locke really dead or will the island bring him back some how? What's the point of this whole show? I am so mixed up as to who all these other people are. They need to do a re-cap on the original cast and what happened to them. There's no continuity in the story telling on this show. They skipped around so much I am not sure who anybody is.

Not at first, I missed him too until I read the message boards this morning with people talking and I first thought everyone lost their mind, then I went to abc.com to see the clip and stopped it and saw the elusive Jacob. Didnt he look like he was in old pirate clothes? I copied the pix of him and been looking at it and I swear that is what he is wearing????

Yes, I saw him. It was the guy Ben met in the jungle when he was looking for his dead mother. But you couldn't see him ALL the time. So, is he (a) a ghost/poltergeist; (b) invisible; (c) on another plane or parallel universe; or (4) is the product of Ben's fevered imagination which has become telekinetic due to the electromagnetic force of the Island. I'm just hoping to goodness that someone wakes up Locke, even if it's Jacob.

There is also a flash of a mysterious set of eyes during the whole "Jacob is angry" scene that could be Jacob. CaffieneAddict I think you may be rushing a little stating that Locke is dead.

Oh and, Jacob is NOT the guy who Little Ben met in the jungle after passing the perimeter. that guy is a longer haird bearded Richard Alpert.

yeah i saw him. i noticed it at first and went back and paused it. it's a side profile of him sitting on the chair. he's got a gray beard but his face was in the shadow. i think he was wearing red - not sure
