LOL B&F! Yes I have 2 as a matter of fact one on the front and back door. It really comes in handy when those Jehovah Witnesses darken my dooway :)
p.s. I was thinking why not try this question in B&F. It might be a hoot :)

When I had a door with a peephole I DID remember to use it. Right now the doors in my house don't have any, and I really miss them! The neighborhood in which I live is always in flux...(some days I wish I had a brace of rotweillers!) A long time ago a friend of mine devised a way to use the peephole w/out it being detected (the usage, not the lens!) Since then I notice some manufacturers have attached a cover for this purpose. (I am a firm believer in just because someone knocks, or the phone rings;it doesn't mean I have to answer.) I have a question-Why do I feel "funny" about asking who is on the other side of the door? I know I should always do it, (cuz no peephole right now) but I feel ridiculous? if I do it? Do I have the "macho" syndrome? (Which I really hate! in guys...) Most peple do not know the actual definition of "macho"-which is actually a beautiful thing..what it has become is what I object to...) }:> Oh, for Yahoo!'s sake: I have peep-toe shoes too......

It went into Beauty and Fashion for the same reason I'm answering this...yes I have peep toe shoes. (No peep hole on my front door.)

We have, and use, an intercom system so we don't need a peep-hole. If there were no intercom, though, I would definitely use a peep-hole. It's safer that way.
