absolutely none. since global warming is 99.9% a natural phenomenon and has very little to do with man made contributions. I seem to remember that in the 1970's scientist were convinced there was an ice age coming and now 30 years later they are screaming looming global warming. Why would they cry wolf? oh I don't know maybe because they are getting sick amounts of money thrown at them to do studies on this supposed impending disaster. Is the earth getting a little warmer? yes. But guess what? that's what the earth does. It goes through cycles. It did before humans were here and it will long after were gone. You recycling your pop cans or riding your bike instead of driving around is going to do squat diddly

Well, pretty much the same as the adult contribution.

Teens use automobiles for transportation.

Teens use electricity, most of which is generated from less than environmentally friendly sources.

Teens go to shopping malls that are built with smog producing machinery and are kept comfortable by air conditioners and heaters.

Teens purchase manufactured products.

Teens consume convenience foods.

etc...

Anytime a teen (or any other person) buys heavily packaged goods, doesn't recycle, and uses electricity longer than they need to, it adds to greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions somewhere. We don't normally see it, but it requires energy to generate the excess packaging, it requires more energy to develop new cans than to recycle old ones, and more electricity equals more use of goals or some other fuel that eventually emissions GHGs.

The bottom line is.....anything that uses carbon-related energy = greenhouse gas emissions.....at least for now. But people are starting to use different energy sources (other than carbon) such as wind energy, solar energy, etc.....these don't generate GHG emissions.

In Amerika their blatant susceptibility to commercial messages encourages their insecurity & induces them to (have their parents) buy all kinds of unnecessary crap. More products = more plants = more pollution. Their love of modern technology is also a dangerous thing, as most old/broken devices (from cell phones to computers, many of which include toxic materials,) end up in landfills. Also, having one's own car to get to school with is far less environmentally friendly than taking the bus.
Gads...there are FAR too many examples, if you think about it!

Probably not recycling and car emissions (for those that drive) are the major ones I can think of
