I want my wife to call me during the day and to generally show just how much she misses me sometimes. I usually call her several times a day,but lately I have thought that I would lay off and let her do the calling. My worry is that she wont call or doesnt really care or miss me that much. what should I do? Call or knock it off altogether?

Your worrying over nothing. Your being too needy and sometimes that will make any woman back off, so stop this nonsense and love her.

Not calling means she's not calling. I'm not a big caller but I think about my man alot. Its just not her style...
You just keep calling unless it annoys the hell out of her, which doesn't mean she's not inlove. some people just don't need it as much as others.
Ask her about it and see if you can meet an agreement where she calls you once or twice a week while at work. she may be over focused on the tasks infront of her from 9 to 5.

Don't stop calling her but maybe cut down a little. Several is a lot. Just remind her that you like to know that you are loved and thought about to.
My husband does the calling to me during the day. He calls me about 4 times a day - some days more, some less. We love to talk to each other. I do other little things for him like make him his favorite dinner or breakfast etc. It all goes around.
Don't worry. You love your wife and let her know you call her to show you are thinking of her and love her.

That's sweet that you call but she may not be a phone person. I don't think it's about loving or missing you I think it's a personality thing. If you want to call her then go ahead but don't expect her to just start calling out of the blue. Talk to her and let her know you would like it.

Perhaps she can't call you! My husband calls me several times a day, but I don't call him as often. He works in the field, so it is easier for him to call me when he isn't busy with a meeting or phone call. Also, I work in an office, so I can't call him several times a day....I don't want to make too many personal calls. If it isn't a good time, I don't answer his call and he knows why....but that doesn't mean I don't think about him all day long!

Are you some kind of control freak? Why would you need to talk to your wife "several times" during the work day. Geez! That's awful. Yes, lay off. Don't call her more than once. Why does she have to miss you every waking minute??? You sound very emotionally immature and I feel sorry for her.

I had that problem with my husband. I would call him a lot during the day and he wouldn't call me. I constantly told him that it would make me feel good if he did call me but that didn't change. I just came to realize that we don't need to talk on the phone 10 times a day. I know that he loves me and I don't need several phone calls throughout the day to prove that. You should just let it be and if she wants to call you then she will but if she doesn't that doesn't mean that she doesn't still love you.

listen do you know your wife loves you? then that is all that matters I would call her once a day to say Hi hows your day don't over do it how long have you been married? I talk to my husband once a day and I work at the same company he does.

My partner calls me from work everyday...sometimes it's a few times during the day.
I don't call him because, sometimes he is so busy, I never know when it's a good time...that's why he does all the calling.
I do send him emails though.
If you enjoy calling her, keep it up. She probably looks forward to it.

oh my gosh u are so sweet,i hope she knows just how lucky she is to have a man like u. my boyfriend is like ur wife and oftenttimes i find myself going thru the same dilemna in my mind that u described. sweetie, the only thing u can do is trust what u do and don't worry about it, ur right just let up on the calling and see what happens. u may be surprised! and any time u may get alone, i would use that time to tell her how much i love her and what she means to me. Glad someone has spare time at their job to call home five times a day. Pal....if my wife did that I'd wrap the phone cord around her neck when I got home.
Not that I'm not romantic but hey...I'm working...don't bother me.
