Back up (copy to CD / DVD / external hard drive) all personal data and re-install Windows "Clean with hard drive format".

Try to remove any new hardware added. This is what the blue screen usually tells. There may be some problem with the memory(RAM). My friend had a similar problem but went off when he changed the ram
