It's the power of the position. It asserts the animal roles of male and female. Female on her knees, male kinda standing up and in control. Plus that's the way it's done in the animal kingdom. The view is great as well because you can see her entire form, those soft curves and lines. And if you peek around, her you can see other things in motion as well. I'm a guy so I can only go off of what i've heard, but i've been told stimulation for the female is better in that position as well. let me put it this way, some guys are breast guys, some are leg guys, ... , some are *ss guys.
plus, well there's no clean or tasteful way of saying this, but it feels different than from between the legs.
for some guys it's also power, most girls won't allow that position, so if they have a wife / girlfriend who will allow, well it's like a status symbol. they are the dominant one in bed.

I've read somewhere that men find s*x from the back to be the most natural position. Maybe men are like animals (no offense meant. Just biology) Then that begs the question, why aren't women animals? But that's off the topic.

Truthfully...if I want to orgasm a second and third time, the sensation that's achieved in that position is much more stimulating for me. I believe it has a lot to do with rubbing against the pubic bone as you move in and out.
