Well, the obvious answer is to obey the posted limit that guarantees you will not be ticketed.
Since you are talking about a camera there are two shows that I recall.
1) Currently on Break.com they are playing an excerpt from a british show where they tested the cameras. The theory was that you could somehow get past them. They discovered you could.. With a car doing 178 MPH the radar somehow did not trip the first time and the second photo only showed the car waaaaaaay off in the distance (they take two photos). But the slower car (152 MPH) got nailed .
Mythbusters did a whole segment on cameras. They tried the spray they tried speed (but not THAT fast), 'special' plastic plates, and a few other things.
The only thing that marginally worked were polarized covers over the plates. and the marginally part wasn't good enough to foil the TWO photo process .
So.. bottom line.. there ain't no easy way out.
Drive slow or drive with someone else's license plates (change early and change often , sort of like voting)
.

Another way to avoid a ticket is to have a dirty license plate cover. This is illegal also.
In Illinois (U.S.), possible speed camera locations are marked with a sign beforehand on the highway, before construction/road work areas. If your area has signs, just make sure you don't speed when you find out that a camera is nearby. This is not the case in parts of Asia and Europe, where there are usually no warnings on the highways.

No, it won't work. And that "equipment" you can buy to supposedly hide your license plate, it is illegal & they don't work. Mythbusters on Discovery channel tested a bunch of them, they all failed. Police use a few different methods to time you. Putting your car in neutral does nothing. You're still speeding even if the car's in neutral. I'm afraid if you don't want to get caught, just don't speed!

The short answer is no. There is no way make your car 'invisible' to cameras or radar. There was a show on Mythbusters, on cable, where they tried all of the different so called ways to beat the speed traps and nothing worked, they were still clocked by radar at their acutal speed.
There is, however, one way to beat it. Try driving the speed limit and obeying ALL the driving rules and laws. After all, it is the law.

There is this spray that makes a glare when the camera takes a picture of you license plate. So you get away with it.
