In the past week we have killed 10 scorpions. I have a 17 month old daughter and don't want the two to mix. I don't want you simple call an exterminator answer, because I have been told that they don't do very good with scorpions (mostly just your roaches, silverfish, ants, spiders, and the such). I am using glue traps, and that helps, but I want them out all together! Some help please!
PS - No I don't have any piles of rocks or wood or any other attractants around my house. A simple yard with only 2 small flower beds.

You will need a 'carbamate' type pesticide. Try to find a Sevin powder that is wettable. If it is wettable you can mix it with water and spray it through a sprayer.
If not then get Sevin dust and powder you house inside out, and underneath. You can get help from your county Agent. Look him up in the phone book. He can tell you what to do-thats his job! He would probably be happy to assist. Most people do not even know they have a county Agent-but we all do!

Thats interesting (from my point of view ) I have never heard of that sit. in my life!! ( im 46 yrs. old ) My opinion would be to locate where they are coming from. Is there a nest? Is the person next door raising them? Call a person that is into scorpions and have them give you some info. And please e-mail me when you find out !!

Well I don't know where you would get one, but a meercat would definitely help cut down the scorpion population.... they love to munch on scorpions.

where the heck to do live for those to be in your house. id move out of that house, or you can learn to be immune to the poison stings. if you enjoy getting poisoned or have bleeding wound when they sting you, keep staying there.
