Check out the Sears store in your local mall!! I took my driver's ed through Sears, and it cost more than the lessons through my high school, but it was much cheaper than the other private driving schools in my hometown.
My on the road driving instructor would have us "practice" going through the McDonalds drive-thru =)

I did Driver Ed In A Box at home. Check and see if it is good in your state!

Try your parents insurance company. Your insurance agent will be able to tell you where to go. You will have to pay for the school but the money you pay for that will be far less than the higher insurance rate you will have without the driving class
