--All along!

Saddam really must have been the mastermind of all "terror", him and his minions.

Isn't it great that we have so much more "freedom" now that we have finally pin-pointed exactly where all the terror is coming from, Iraq?
In "liberating" the Iraqis-- from Iraq-- we have indeed liberated ourselves.

There are terrorists all over the world..from all over the world..we are just whipping the crap out the ones who decided to form groups and plot against us...if we catch the other ones (similar to the uni bomber) then make no mistake, they will be destroyed as well...and if there is any justice they will be shown exactly as much mercy as they showed their victims.

Are you being sarcastic?

Edit: I guess you are being sarcastic. Very well, then.

We have not had any attacks in this country on the scale of the September 11 attacks for several reasons. One of them is the increased security and the increased awareness of the threat that terrorist organizations pose. Our gaurd went up. The second is that a surprise attack on that scale takes a lot of planning, money, and downright luck. For all we know, there are terrorist organizations out there that are planning this right now (I do not work for the CIA or the FBI, but I have heard that we receive threats on a daily basis). I pray to the lady that this never happens again. But are law enforcement and intelligence organizations are working ceaselessly to ensure that it does not.

Saddam Hussein (evil, despical tyrant that he was) was actually an enemy of terrorists. Saddam's regime was a secular regime, not a fundamentalist Islamic one. Now that the secular regime has been toppled, Iraq is being overrun with extremist Islamic groups - just like the ones who masterminded the September 11 attack.

The media and the US government both acknowledge that membership in 'terrorist' organizations in the muslim world is increasing rapidly. Polls around the world show us perceived as a LESS safe and peaceful country to billions of people who see us as the only world super power, after we ivaded Iraq unprovoked. Some European and Asian countries has signed the under-publicized compacts, essentially alliance treaties, and we know how well that worked before world war one. China increased its military spending 17 % last year alone , Iran has/soon to have nuclear weapons and we down-sized our military far too low in the 90's and its being felt by all the reservists and extended tours of military personnel. When I asked why (in 1992) 'experts' like people who spoke at naval war college and government think tanks felt we should cut the navy from 800,000 to 400,000 at the time , I was told directly "we are the only worlds super power, we only need to be able to fight two 'squirmishes' simultaneously........
What happens when world oil runs nearly dry in the next decade or so? The 'terrorist' threat is not the real threat.
Feeling safer?

When GWB made his grand speech announcing the invasion of Iraq, two men flanked him. Both of their countries later suffered horrendous terror attacks on their capitals.

Ten explosions went off on commuter trains in Madrid during the morning rush hour of 11 March, 2004. 191 people were killed and 2,050 wounded.

In London, three buses and a subway train were destroyed by bombs on 7 July 2005. 52 people died and 700 were injured.

Your facts are wrong. And so are your conclusions.

It's only a matter of time when something else happens.. I know its a negative thing to say but I don't even think we have seen the worst of it yet. I bet you a million dollars there is a terrorist group somewhere in the Untied States.. sitting around coming up with a plan. It's very scary to me and I highly doubt we have seen the last of it.

No, the proof that terrorists were in Iraq is from all the documentation of the Iraqi intelligence service, from debriefings of Iraqis who were in the intelligence service, and from other evidence we had gathered.

You were aware, were you not, that it has been proven quite conclusively that Iraqi secret service had long been in contact with al Qaeda, no? And that they'd been providing cash to anti-Israel terrorists? Perhaps you need to read some factual history instead of the propaganda you get from the lefty blogs.

My X boyfriend grew up in Mumbai. It's sad but this type of stuff happens often in India. But given the amount of internationals affected by the attack, this problem reached international news. I do find it odd that they targeted Indian outsiders. The other attacks were against Hindus.

Terrorists in Iraq? Surely you jest, yes?
You're funny., Must be too much Fox 5 viewing. Saddam didn't have a thing to do with 911.

No, terrorist could be from Alabama to New York or California. I don't think one could say all terrorist are from a single country or nationality as proven by attacks in the past.

I will repeat what I have said before. Maybe we haven't had any since 9/11, but how many attacks did we have before 9/11 in the U.S.? If memory serves me, only one, the 1993 WTC bombing, which you neocons repeatedly try to fault Clinton for as well even though he had only been president for three weeks. You only believe Saddam to be responsible because your god George W. says so and you are incapable of thinking for yourselves!!
