Does anyone else have a husband (or wife, if you're a guy) who makes NO noise (other than heavy breathing) during sex? My husband is like this, and has been since we started dating 4 or 5 years ago (we've been married 3 years). It's not that he's not enjoying himself--I know he is. He's just silent--no talking, moaning, grunting--NOTHING. I'm not saying I want him to scream out my name or talk dirty or anything (quite honestly, that would scare me, lol). Is this odd behavior for him, or are there other guys like this out there?

To clarify: I'm not upset about this at all--I've become accustomed to it and realize that's just the way he is. When we first started dating, however, it sort of upset me because I thought I wasn't making him happy, but we discussed it and found that that's not the case at all. I'm just curious if other men are like this. :)

Naw, it could be a learned thing. I actually sleep right below my parents, so it's basically survival to make the least amount of noise as possible. But we'll whisper to eachother and stuff during sex. And yeah, afterwards we'll be like, "Oh God, I wanted to scream so bad."
But if you guys are alone, it should be alright. But he might have learned to be quiet during sex.
What exactly do you want him to do???

My man was like this when we met too. I asked him why men are like that. He really had no answer and I chalked it up to testosterone. But what I did do was tell him that him making noise turned me on. I wanted to hear the moans and the talking. Know what? It worked (maybe too well LOL)! It might be awkward at first, but get some "toys" or an outfit or two for the occasion, and he will warm up. Good Luck. :)

Maybe at one time he did make noise and the person he was with didn't care for it or berated him for it, so he just keeps quiet. Have you said anything to him about it? Maybe he's not the noise type. Do you make noise or talk? Does he respond when you do? Or does he tell you he doesn't like it? You might want to bring it up or try talking dirty yourself and see if you can engage him in conversation. Maybe he thinks he'll freak you out if he does.
Good luck

If you want some type of voca response out of him, nest time your having sex, stick your finger in his azz. Just joking!!!! lol
There is no standard for guys or girls as to thier response and actions during sex. Some people laugh out load at the movies watching a comedy, some laugh under thier breath. But both are finding what they are watching to be funny! Hope this helps.

Sometimes people are just quiet during sex. Maybe if you would like to hear him, ask him questions during sex or make some pretty noises for him. He may get the hint.

My husband is quite becasue he likes to listen to me. But he does make some noise, just not as much as I'd like. For some guys, they get off on the woman's noises.

I was like that at one point in my life. I'm not much of a noise make in any case, but I'd want to say things but didn't for fear of sounding silly or ruining the moment.

Other guys are like that too...so don't worry about it...men's aren't much of a screamers...their job is to concentrate during sex, so they can make the girl feel pleasure..remember the sex its one of the worst moments for men..not becuase of the pleasure, but because of the strees...they have to make sure their partner is happy and satisfied....

I've been with men who are really loud and some who are quiet. Honestly it really freaks me out when men are quiet because I think they aren't enjoying it, but when my ex was especially silent one time afterwards he looked at me and said "that was the best sex I've ever had" I ended the relationship because I couldn't stand having sex with him.

first of all, i could say a woman who sleeps around is a slu.t, not a whore. Whore's do it for a living. Secondly, that's not a lot sexism as that's the life of double standard between gender roles. As for why is happens, it quite is merely how our society works i assume...
