True love is when you put your partner's interests above your own. It is when you will do anything the see them happy, even things that may go against what you believe. It is called sacrifice and true love is nothing without it.
When your away from her you think of her. When your with her you want to please her. when you laugh or cry you want to do it with her.

Well, modern pop-culture tends to view love as an emotional connection, associated with sexual desire. but not everyone agrees.
In actuality, the emotional aspect is only a small piece of what love is. Love can be more accurately defined as an attitude or a pattern of behavior. Regardless of your religious convictions, the best definition of love I've ever seen is found in the bible.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 says,
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

It is a magical gift bestowed upon you by God! "And think not
love can guide your course--for love if it finds you worthy--will guide your course" is the way Kahil Gibran said it, I think! It made sense to me.
It happens at the most unexpected times and it is a gift that is very uplifting, unselfish and brilliant to an individual. It is like finding your other half and it is an extremely positive experience yet--it can also pierce you--it has an opposite contained within it! In order to fully experience it, you must also realize that it can cause you great pain, as well!

"Love is not affectionate feeling, but a steady wish for the loved person's ultimate good as far as it can be obtained." C S Lewis
The exact point we fall in love. Interesting. When our thoughts are carried away from our selves and placed at the feet of our loved one.

Honestly, when everything you see or think is related to that one special person. When every month without her is forgotten within that one minute with her. Dedication, respect, faithfulness. Every man & woman should learn the definition of all 3 if you want to find true love.

True love is finding someone who you really can spend the rest of your life with. There's going to be fights and bad days, sure...but true love is the one wh still loves you no matter what, and helps you through those times. True love is someone who sticks with you, stays true...true love isn't runing away at the first sign of a problem. True love is...me and my husband (awww).

True love is something that one cannot search for. It has to discover you. It isn't masked by outer-beauty or anything artificial that poses as love. Once it discovers you, you will know it, and it will appear to never change. Regardless, you will know it, and you should always just go with your heart.

True love is happiest when the object of its affection is happy. (As a life style, this is when the world is in harmony.)
True love requires nothing in return.
Think of a parent's love for a child.
