LOST question: Do you guys think that Locke is dead??

He's not dead, Jason or the smoke monster will save him. We thought the eye-patch guy was dead too remember.

Locke is definitely not dead - when Locke told Ben what Jacob said to him Ben said something along the lines of seeing if Jacob helps him now - which is what I think is going to happen. Locke was paralyzed then could walk again - I have a hard time believing that a bullet is going to keep him down. As a matter of fact I think Locke will be the savior of this island - the hero if you will.

I turly believe that John Locke is and will remain to be alive. For many reasons
1. Greatest Hits (next weeks episode) and finale both list him as starring so for that sole reason i believe that he will remain alive, but then comes the question of how???? well i have an answer for that too, ...

Locke heard Jacob (and for those of you who dont belive that there is a Jacob HE WAS THERE go here if you dont believe me: http://losteastereggs.blogspot.com/2007/05/11-frames-of-jacob.html ) say Help Me, so we have to ask ourselves why would Jacob, leader of the others and practically the island be asking for help??? thats courious, so we look at reasons and evidence that we have that might prove him to be in need of help, the first one being is that Ben told Locke that he lies a lot and i thik that he lied about Jacob controlling the island and what happens, well maybe he does but why doesnt he see anyone else but ben? becuase Ben made it that way, but why cant Jacob leave you ask, well answer because of that apparent circle of ash or gunpowder or whatever it was that looked as if it went all around his house, that is one reason he might be seeking help becuase he is trapped

the other reason i believe he wants help is becuase he is the monster which in turn is the like the soul or spirit of the island and the island has become less and less hidden over the past couple of years with everything from the real Henry Gale, the Nigerean plane crash, the oceanic crash and now Naomi, so i think that he doesnt like technology becuase he is scared that it will like take over him and find him

now then if this is true and i think it is than Jacob first, needs to get out of his house somehow and save Locke becuase he belives (as do i ) that locke can be the only one (besides Ben) who can save him becuase a) he head him and b) he's special,

the island/Jacob will heal him without coming out though becuase it healed him before on day 1. it will happen agian unless of course Jack or Danneile or someone else somehow finds him (i dont know how this will occur just saying) but Danielle is in both of the next episodes

Jacob *now THAT was weird -__-* very well may cure Locke. I refuse to believe Mr. Don't Tell Me What I Can't Do is out for the count. Have you noticed how much Ben is trying to turn Locke into him? Ben, as we saw, turned on the Dharma group and killed his father *that was Dad's body in the van that Hurley found*. Then Ben told Locke not to follow the Others unless he killed his father.
Point #??? lol Patchy looks pretty good for somebody dead also. I don't think Locke is going anywhere

DUDE let me first say that claire(emily de ravin ) is the best thing on that crazy island by far she is soooooooosexy.

next WHAT WAS WITH JACOB !!!! did you see him i thought i caught a glimpse after he asked lock for help.......

but this show is too insane too keep track with only 1 show a week locke i think is dead which will make world war 4 between the survivors and the others !

also kate( evangeline lilly) was on jimmy kimmel live last night looking like jennifer afflecks twin what a threesom anyways ok , she said the season finally is HUGE 2 hours worth watching i say .............

Now remember. Locke was paralyzed when he came to the Island, and the first thing that happened was he moved his feet. There's no guarantee that the Island, or whatever force it has, won't keep him alive. Besides, if they kill off Locke and/or Hurley, then I'm starting the next petition.

Of course he isn't dead.

We saw him start to black out because of the wound, so he's not dead yet!

I mean, this guy was paralyzed, now he can walk. I'm pretty sure the island/Jacob will heal the wound and Locke will come back with fists flying!

I don't think he is dead. He is far too powerful of a character. And for him to die like Paulo and Nikki would be a spit in the face. He is like the islands Chuck Norris. The island will have to let him live.

I think something will happen and he will be back. Remember, we thought the guy with the eyepatch was dead from the perimeter zap he received- then he later runs into Desmond and his friends with "parachute girl".

So anything is possible. I certainly hope he isn't dead- especially after he gave Ben such a run for his money last night.

According to the Lost article for Season 3 on wikipedia, the final episode of the season is going to be a showdown between Locke and Jack......but who knows, that info could've just been planted to get us talking!
