Because of this fact, mozilla can refrence the browser mozilla, or any of the browsers that use the mozilla core. So mozilla is the fundimental basis that the firefox browser was build off of, additionally that core also built netscapes now extinct browser, and the mozilla branded browser. Mostly today when you hear mozilla refrenced people are talking about Firefox as its the only code thats still being developed using mozilla core.
